RAVÉ MEHTA

Ravé is a musician, educator, engineer and author, but at his core, he’s a deep thinker who loves to explore the intersection of art, science and human potential. Having performed around the world, his music ranges from classical piano to full electronic dance productions and has been featured across various television networks including MTV, VH1, E!, Oxygen and WE. Ravé is also the author of The Inventor (Scholastic), a bestselling graphic novel based on the true story of Nikola Tesla and his battle with Thomas Edison in the AC/DC wars to bring light and energy to the world. The Inventor is now being used in schools across the country as a new approach to engage kids to read and learn while inspiring STEM learning as discussed in his TED talk “Reimagining Education for a Hyper-Visual Culture.” Ravé is an avid yoga and meditation teacher and practitioner for over 15 years. His love for music and mindfulness inspired him to create FLOW, a health and wellness themed show that blends his live piano concert with yoga inspired acrobatic dance performances to inspire others to tap into their own flow state. Ravé is the recipient of the Tesla Vision Award from the Tesla Science Foundation for his contributions to science and education. He is also a contributor to the Huffington Post and an adjunct professor at Rollins College.
